Linda T. Tomasi
Director of Quality and Compliance

As an organizational effectiveness professional with more than 20 years of experience helping small companies and multi-billion corporations achieve organizational change, quality compliance and continuous improvement, Linda Tomasi has the tools to astutely assess a company’s modus operandi – those strengths, weaknesses and processes that are so critical to future prosperity.

And she likes what she sees in the offices, research labs and manufacturing facilities at RSL Fiber Systems.

As Director of Quality and Compliance, Tomasi is responsible for ensuring that RSL complies with all regulations, including International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). On the quality front, Tomasi manages all ISO audits for the company and spearheads RSL’s efforts to implement broad-based quality improvement standards company-wide.

RSL’s “quality maturity,” as Tomasi states it, is extremely advanced for a company its size. She led RSL’s effort at streamlining company-wide policies and procedures to merge them with quality and ISO operations, and was instrumental in building a sophisticated regulatory compliance structure not normally seen in much larger companies. “We are spending a lot of time and effort to do all the front-end work so we can manage rapid growth effectively,” says Tomasi. “The company is ready.”

Tomasi has worked for companies large and small, including AT&T, Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) and Pfizer. As Senior Director of Quality and Process Improvement with Pfizer, she was responsible for transforming quality, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement for the company’s Global Research and Development Informatics organization and later its consolidated Worldwide Technology group. She takes great pride in her skills as a strategic advisor to senior management, and in helping smaller entities manage growth through practical implementation of the kinds of organizational effectiveness approaches that have brought success to large corporations.

Tomasi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Research Psychology from Fairfield University, and a Master of Science degree in Organizational Psychology from Steven’s Institute of Technology.
